Walson Holland Grenache 2018
Wow, this is a mind-blowing new wine that must be tasted to believe; reminding us why we fell in love with exotic California reds (+ Chateauneuf du Pape) decades ago. We adored the balance of power and irresistible layers of opulent flavors including kirsch, framboise, and fresh strawberries with cream. The monumentally delicious finish that dazzled with notes of butterscotch and sumptuous baking spices. This Grenache blend is deftly balanced, ultra-pure, precise now while the plush tannins bode for enjoying now (decant prior to 2024) and aging through 2029.
