Two Hands Shiraz Ares 2018
An unapologetically fun, voluptuous wine bursting with blueberry cream, tart red and blue berries, and a bold streak of acidity that keeps all its richness in check. Notes of caramel, coffee, toffee, and a touch of salinity add layers of indulgence, but this isn’t a brooding or contemplative Shiraz, it’s all about pleasure and presence. Powerful yet oddly restrained, it begs for BBQ and good company. Not one to cellar forever, but honestly, 97 points and loving it right now.
