Torbreck Decendent 2013
A flamboyant and enormously mouth-filling wine. Inky black, it reveals terrific concentration, with a wide array of lush and powerful flavors that include smoky chocolate mole, blueberry jam, cassis, and dark black truffle pudding then crescendo with a long finish that includes slightly toasted oak combined with a hint of smoked game and roasted herbs. This is a truly delightful Aussie Shiraz and worthy of a special glass tonight as well as long-term cellaring.
