Martinelli Pinot Noir Zio Tony Ranch 2012
Certainly one of the most intense and expressive Pinots we’ve tasted this year! One is immediately seduced by the copious amounts of rich plum, fig, and black cherry that waft from the glass. Silky smooth on the palate, flashy notes of red cherry, currant, and bouquet garni are deftly integrated with creamy oak plus hints of smoky spices to create a virtually flawless wine. If you are crazy about California Pinot, look no further. Enjoy over the next 5-7 years.
