Le Pich Cabernet Sauvignon Napa 2012
The wine offers a silky smooth texture plus generous amounts of exuberant flavors including cassis, black cherry, and potpourri on the bouquet and palate. This is a seriously complex wine with dazzling, dark fruit deftly melded together. If you’re serious about Cabernet, this boutique bargain is a must have for your cellar. Enjoy over the next 5-7 years.
Le Pich Winery
Purlieu's sister label, Le Pich, gets its name from a Wappo Indian term meaning "golden eagle". Crafted by the former assistant winemaker of Chateau Lafite-Rothschild (who also made his name at Dalla Valle, Lail and Quintessa) this impeccable Cabernet is sourced from some of the most renowned vineyards in Napa, including Pritchard Hill, home to Colgin, Bryant Family and Ovid.
