Kenzo Estate Rosé Napa Yui 2019
This new vintage of Yui Rosé is particularly vibrant, boasting a delightful array of bright raspberry, and hints of spring flowers. The palate flexes a bit of muscle, but displays classic notes of ripe red strawberry, crisp cherry, and refreshing brightness that culminate in a memorable finish. This is a perfect Spring and Summer sipper that will thrill over the next year + age for at least two more years so stock up and enjoy!
Kenzo Estate Winery
Kenzo Tsujimoto first achieved success as the founder of Capcom, a Japanese developer and publisher of video games. During that time, he became enchanted with the Napa Valley after the historic 1976 Judgment of Paris, which launched Napa Valley wines onto the world stage. His affinity for California wine country and vision to build an outdoor retreat led him to a 3,800-acre mountain valley in Napa’s southeast corner.
In 2003, celebrated winemaker Heidi Barrett joined the team. Dubbed by Time Magazine as “The Wine Diva of Napa Valley,” Barrett crafted some of the most sought-after Napa Valley cult wines, including Screaming Eagle and Dalla Valle. Both Kenzo and his wife and COO Natsuko Tsujimoto were captivated by Barrett’s elegant, artistic approach to winemaking.
