Kenzo Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Ai 2018
The 2018 Kenzo Ai is a masterpiece that must be tasted to believe the intensity of exotic fruit flavors and cashmere-like texture. The blend this vintage is 90% Cabernet plus a dash of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot to add complexity. The bouquet features warm spices and lightly toasted oak reminiscent of a Summer campfire inviting you to join the fun. This tour-de-force Cabernet blend allures with a core of fresh, dark fruit flavors deftly melded together with seductive flavors including Godiva dark chocolate, currants, blackberry, espresso, pipe tobacco, and savory herbs combine for a captivating experience we highly recommend. Enjoy through 2033 (decanting recommended prior to 2026).
Kenzo Estate Winery
Kenzo Tsujimoto first achieved success as the founder of Capcom, a Japanese developer and publisher of video games. During that time, he became enchanted with the Napa Valley after the historic 1976 Judgment of Paris, which launched Napa Valley wines onto the world stage. As Capcom’s business expanded into the United States, Kenzo sought a serene location to offer an outdoor alternative to the company’s indoor electronic sporting business. His affinity for California wine country and vision to build an outdoor retreat led him to a 3,800-acre mountain valley in Napa’s southeast corner.
