Failla Chardonnay Sonoma Coast 2014
“Golden Delicious apple, pear, and hints of white tea burst from the glass. The mouthfeel is exuberant with pure expressions of fruit and marvelous balance that finishes clean and focused. This is a white wine you want to enjoy all year long. Will provide immense pleasure over the next 3 years.
Failla Wines Winery
While the history of Failla (pronounced FAY-LA) is short, it is not without its complexities. Their first vintage release was as Failla-Jordan in 1998; the label taking its name from husband-and-wife team of winemaker Ehren Jordan and fellow debtor Anne-Marie Failla. That year, Failla's first release of Alban Vineyard Viognier (Edna Valley) and Que Syrah Syrah (Sonoma Coast) coincided with planting the first blocks at their Estate Vineyard in Cazadero.
