Donum Pinot Noir RRV Estate 2013
Offering plenty of sumptuous fruit, spice, and exotic notes. Gorgeous aromas of Bing cherry, plum, and raspberry lead to a mouth coating palate that offers layers and layers of fruit. Black cherry, dark berries, baking spice, and hints of tea all make an appearance and lead to a hedonistic, persistent finish. This is showing extremely well now and will continue to offer pleasure for at least another 5 years.
Donum Estate Winery
In 2001, Anne Moller-Racke set out to make the best Pinot Noir from our Carneros vineyard. The heart of this pursuit has always encompassed the entire journey from vine to bottle. Their exploration has evolved with the addition of acreage as well as two other sites: our Winside Vineyard in Russian River and Angel Camp in Anderson Valley. Today, Donum is recognized as one of California’s top pinot noir producers. Their quest to craft complete, beautiful, site- specific wines from our estate vineyards continues throughout each vintage.
