Domaine Bouard Bonnefoy Chass 1er Morgeot-Petits Clos 2014
An absolute powerhouse Chardonnay. Intense aromatics of pear, white peach, and pain grillé develop on the palate to include light tropical and floral notes along with hints of spice. The palate is sublimely rich and balanced with a core of minerality. This is extremely enjoyable now, and will continue to offer pleasure over the next decade.
Domaine Bouard-Bonnefoy Winery
Domaine Bouard-Bonnefoy sets the standard for naturally made, profoundly flavorful white Burgundy. Consider the family’s hand-cranked wooden press, the mini-family cellar and the bottling “line,” where each bottle is corked and labeled by hand—when someone says they are searching for an authentic wine far removed from today’s hyper-technology and trends, they’re looking for Bouard-Bonnefoy wines.
