This treasure launches forth with a bouquet of blackberry, currant and vanilla immediately jump from the glass. Opens up to aromas of plum and cedar develop. On the palate, flavors of blackberry, wild berries, boysenberry, cocoa and dark spices are framed by polished tannin. The finish is smooth and lush with a structure that should ensure a long life and reward cellaring a few years. Decant prior to 2012, peaking around 2015 in our estimate.
