Brown Estate Zinfandel Napa 2013
Building on a core of juicy, red fruit, the 2013 Zinfandel from Brown bursts from the glass with aromas of blackberry, spice box, and hints of black tea. The palate is unctuous and loaded with flashy red and black berries, cedar, and a bright, persistent finish. Definitely designed for short-term enjoyment, drink over the next 3-5 years.
Brown Winery
In 1980, the Brown family acquired land in the hills area east of Rutherford in Napa Valley. In 2010, the Brown family celebrated thirty years in Napa Valley and Brown Estate's fifteenth crush. Over the years their farming philosophy has not changed. Their fifty acres of vineyards are planted amidst 450 acres of roughneck wilderness that they strive to tend rather than tame.
