BRAND Cabernet Sauvignon Pritchard Hill 2009
A rich, pure expression of black fruit, showing sweet blackberry, espresso and earth. The integrated tannins are fine and soft and lead to a lingering, velvety finish. This expressive Cabernet will age gracefully over the next 10-15 years and can be enjoyed now when decanted.
BRAND Winery
Above the cloud line overlooking Lake Hennessey and the Napa Valley are the vineyards of BRAND where twelve acres of vines are planted in red volcanic soils surrounded by massive boulders on this mountainside winegrowing estate. After 6 years of groundwork and preparation, the first release of BRAND Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon was offered in September 2012. This wine embodies the depth of commitment to the unique conditions and volcanic soil in which the vines are planted on the mountain called Pritchard Hill in the Napa Valley appellation.
BRAND and the double horseshoes, our logo, reflect the fundamental elements in our equestrian interests and the volcanic soils on Pritchard Hill. Much like the horseshoe hammered true by the Farrier forms the foundation for sustainability and grace in our horses; the soil painted red by the iron contained within has similar immeasurable influence on the vine.
