Au Sommet Cabernet Sauvignon 2014
The 2014 Au Sommet launches forth with captivating aromatics high-toned red berries, Santa Rosa plum, clove, tobacco leaf and cocoa waft from the glass. Well-structured with soft, fine tannins, the palate offers deftly balanced layers of red and black berries, currant, and hints of espresso and pipe tobacco on the exquisite finish. This is a serious contender for long term cellaring through 2035, but delivers sublime enjoyment now (after decanting).
