Hudson Grown-Premier Napa Valley 2018

Posted 7 years ago by admin

Held over the last week in February, the annual Premier Napa Valley event was able to raise over $4 million for the Napa Valley Vintners Association. During this event filled week there are various tastings held around the valley and a lively wine auction as the final event. We were fortunate enough to attend at tasting at Hudson Ranch & Vineyards featuring some our favorite producers in the valley. Each of these producers makes a site specific wine with fruit from the Hudson Vineyard and each one was spectacular.

The property itself is over 200 acres, situated deep in the rolling hills of Napa Valley’s Carneros appellation. The land is cared for impeccably and produces not only world class wine, but Tuscan olive oil, heritage breed pigs, lambs and chickens as well as a diverse array of fruit and vegetables which they use for their CSA program. Their premium grapes are sold to 27 wineries in Napa and Sonoma counties, only some of which produce site specific wines that bear the ‘Hudson Vineyard’ name on the label. Here are a few of these epic wines that we tasted last week.
