During this year’s Napa Valley Premier week, another phenomenal tasting we attended was held at Arkenstone Vineyards. Arkenstone is an all Estate Winery located on the Western shoulder of Howell Mountain. Consisting of 13 acres of vineyard, that overlooks the Napa Valley to the West and Bell Canyon to the East. The vineyard produces a range of varietals: Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Malbec, Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon and Syrah.

The wineries in attendance were some of Napa’s finest, as well as some lesser known names that are highly coveted boutique brands for savvy collectors. Two standouts we highly recommend are Anomaly Vineyards and Meteor Vineyards, both known for their high end, small production Cabernet Sauvignon.
