Leads out with a gorgeous nose of bright red cherry with touches of violets and cassis. On the palate it’s full of blueberry, blackberry jam, lavender with copious quantities of cocoa and a touch of exotic spices. Amazing concentration and complexity coupled with a sensuous mouthfeel make this one of the most remarkable new wines to come out of Napa. Finishes with vanilla flowers and balanced hints of dark chocolate deftly melded together with finely polished tannins. –
