Drew Pinot Noir Estate Faîte De Mer Farm 2020
This wine has everything you want in a cool climate Pinot: crisp acidity, beautiful florals, and tangy fruit; however, there’s another layer packed with juicy pomegranate, fresh cranberry, and cherry cola that takes it to the next level. These coastal grapes sit above the fog line, meaning they get to soak up the warm CA sun all day, achieving optimal ripeness while maintaining their balance, and the result is a commendable glass of Pinot Noir! – September 2022
Drew Family Winery
Jason and Molly Drew started Drew in 2000 with a clear pursuit in mind: to craft small
lot, cool climate wines that express site distinction and traditional varietal character.
Their moment came when they stumbled upon an old 26 acre apple orchard within the
Mendocino Ridge Appellation, with south facing slopes at 1250 ft elevation, putting
them just above the fogline and a true coastal climate, with the ocean a mere 3.3 miles
away.
The Drew estate winery at Faîte De Mer Farm was born. Jason is a true vigneron having
spent 29 years honing his skillset in vineyard farming and winemaking, having studied
in both the northern and southern hemispheres, and working for several notable
northern and central California estate wineries including Joseph Phelps, John
Kongsgaard, and Cathy Corison.
