Argot Chardonnay Le Rayon Vert 2019
Inspired by the wines of Meursault, this Sonoma Mountain Chardonnay exhibits notes of pear, melon, and tropical fruit with layers of toasty creamy oak. It’s extremely approachable and has delicious flavors of freshly baked banana bread, butterscotch pudding, caramel, and white chocolate. Don’t be fooled by the delicious laundry list of desserts we just named; this crisp and clean Chardonnay has a refreshing and mouthwatering finish that will leave you wanting more. – August 2022
Argot Winery
Argot was created by winemaker Justin Harmon in 2007. Justin fell in love with wine as
a consumer, and his education in chemical engineering drew him into the winemaking
process. He began experimenting in his parent's Chicago basement, using a kit and then
flash-frozen grapes brought in by rail car from Napa, then moved to California for his
first harvest work in 2005. After harvest internships in 2006 & 2007, Justin bought his
first ton of grapes & began the Argot project.
